Como Park

Yes, it is "Spring Break" here in lovely, snowy, cold Minnesota. So on Monday we decided to go to one of my favorite places in all of the Twin Cities: Como Park. We went to the conservatory to get our much overdue dose of greenery and flowers. I can't wait to see GREEN again outside!

The other reason why I love Como Park so much is that I love bringing my kids to places that I loved so much as a child. The conservatory hasn't changed much in 30-some years. This is the exact same spot I used to sit and watch the goldfish too when I was a child.

Nickelodeon Universe!

Since we are buried in snow this spring break we decided to take the fun indoors to the new Nickelodeon Universe at the Mall of America.

10 Years!

Wow! I can't believe it! On March 20th Bart and I celebrated our 10th year of being married. That sounds like a lot but as I look back on it all, it doesn't seem like it's been that long. Time is an interesting thing. I am grateful to be married to such a hard working and thoughtful man. Bart is a great husband and wonderful dad!

This is the beautiful bouquet of flowers Bart got for me. If I could only capture the scent too....amazing!

Easter Sunday

A Minnesota Easter!

This year the Easter Bunny kindly decided to hide his eggs inside our house! Whew! Thank Goodness!

Its potty time!

Summer is such a funny girl! And she loves to copy anything she sees us doing. Case in point.

The best present ever!

Mackenzie got a sweet new ride for her birthday. And it HAD to have streamers on the handlebars. Both Bart and I got told separately by Mackenzie that we were the best mom and dad in the whole wide world for getting her the best present ever!

Davis blog finally here!

Wow, I can't believe I finally did it. The power of peer pressure is amazing-- everyone was doing it, so I thought I'd like to join the crowd and see what it's all about. Just one more thing for me to spend all my oodles and oodles of free time with.
