Summer and my dad, Stew, share a special bond. They share the same birthday

I love that they have that special connection. This year we celebrated Summer's 3rd birthday and my dad's 72nd birthday by going to Underwater Adventure at the Mall of America.
They just opened up a new Seahorse exhibit that we all wanted to see. I tell you, seahorses are very interesting creatures! As interesting as they are for some reason I forgot to take any pictures of them. So here are some pictures from the day minus the seahorses.

Earlier in the week Summer told me she wanted to eat cupcakes with her friends. So on Wednesday at playgroup we ate cupcakes and celebrated her birthday with her friends. Very low-key--which is much needed right now! Here are a couple cute pictures from that day.
